Denae is a Senior Director in the 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Department of Professional Practice (DPP) with over 15 years of experience. In DPP, Denae assists engagement teams with complex auditing and financial reporting matters. Denae supports the firm鈥檚 implementation of new auditing standards and enhancements to the firm鈥檚 audit methodology. She is a key contributor to the development of external publications and audit methodology for emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. She remains current on integration of technology into business and financial reporting processes, as well as the associated regulations. This involves having a comprehensive understanding of the implications for audits and financial reporting, including aspects such as corporate governance and internal controls.
Denae is experienced in performing financial statement audits, audits of internal controls over financial reporting, quarterly reviews, partnership audits and reviews of various filings of registration statements with the SEC. She has worked with companies ranging from small private companies to large publicly traded multi-nationals with reporting requirements in accordance with PCAOB requirements and US GAAP. In addition, Denae has assisted clients with a variety of business combinations, dispositions, debt and equity securities issuances, and other accounting issues.
Denae is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a licensed CPA in San Antonio and New York.
