    Kevin is a tax disputes professional in the 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网 Law team. He has worked for 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网 since 2015 helping corporate and private clients manage their relationships with HMRC. Before joining 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网 Kevin worked at HMRC for 18 years including 5 years in the Large business service co-ordinating corporate risk assessment and enquiry work.

    He has experience of helping clients with all aspects of tax enquiries including disclosure issues, responding to HMRC information notices, handling HMRC penalty claims and progressing enquiries through to successful resolution.聽

    Kevin has been involved with the development of contemporary dispute resolution programmes and has worked on a number of High Risk corporate Programme (HRCP) projects for large corporate clients and Enquiry Co-ordinator Programme (ECP) projects for medium sized clients. Kevin has deep understanding of these dispute resolution processes and HMRC governance procedures has developed excellent working relationships with the key HMRC personnel involved.聽

    Kevin has assisted the development of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the use of mediation as a new means of resolving tax disputes. In 2013 Kevin undertook a secondment at HMRC鈥檚 Dispute Resolution Unit where he was responsible for managing the ADR pilot for large and complex cases. Kevin has achieved mediator accreditation from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution and acts as a co-mediator in resolving tax disputes through facilitated discussions with HMRC.聽

    As well as a deep understanding of the UK dispute resolution landscape Kevin has been involved in the development of the 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网 Global tax disputes resolution & controversy network. Kevin is 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网鈥檚 global tax disputes lead for the UK and EMA region and has practical experience of cross-border tax audits.
