ōܲ is our economic and social development toolkit, co-designed with global and ǰ knowledge to support social transformation in Aotearoa New Zealand. ōܲ is a whakapapa of connected frameworks and tools that collectively work to support social solution development and delivery, address inequity, and encompass a ǰ worldview.
- Design services and systems that better meet the needs of diverse communities of Aotearoa
- Define, drive and realise outcomes
- Embed approaches that enable and support Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Operationalise and embed processes that serve to deliver a more equitable Aotearoa
- Drive transformation in a way that puts people, whānau and communities at the heart.
A critical component of our ōܲ journey has been to seek the advice and guidance of others. Our external advisory panel, Te Ranga Roa, brought together expertise across mātauranga ǰ, indigenous methodology development, research, public sector transformation, and grassroots community impact. The panel has supported us in developing associated tikanga to ensure the integrity of our tools and the cultural competence required to deliver them.
