The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has announced the formal adoption of the Fund Authorisation Simple Track (FASTrack), effective 5 May 2025, following a successful six-month pilot.

FASTrack enables faster authorization of simple funds from Mutual Recognition of Funds (MRF) jurisdictions, targeting a 15-business-day turnaround for successful applications. All eligible applications during the pilot phase were processed within the target timeframe and received positive feedback.
