James has over 18 years鈥� experience of working in the fields of planning, tourism and recreation in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, Portugal and Georgia. Areas of interest include destination planning and strategic tourism master-planning, feasibility analysis, recreation planning and urban regeneration.
James is a Chartered Town Planner and holds a BA (Hons) in Town and Country Planning and a postgraduate degree in Town Planning (Bristol); and an MSc in Tourism, Conservation and Sustainable Development. James is a corporate member of both the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Irish Planning Institute, and a Fellow of the Institute of Place Management. James is also a national jury member for the Irish Blue Flag Beach Awards since 2012.
