Slight recovery in deals count after several years of consecutive decline: +6% more M&A and PE deals in Baltics in FY24 than a year ago.

  • Baltics PE deal count +26% YoY in FY24 driven by deals in Estonia and Lithuania while Latvian deals count remained relatively unchanged.
  • Baltics M&A activity in FY24 remained slightly below FY23 level (-2% YoY) 鈥� M&A activity +17% YoY in Estonia was more than offset by weak year in Latvia and Lithuania (-5% and -21%, respectively).
  • The main growing sector in FY24 in terms of deal count were Business Products and Services (B2B) (+14 deals YoY, driven by Logistics sector (+5 deals YoY)).
  • Weakest activity, on the other hand, was seen in Consumer Products and Services (14 deals less than in FY23 driven by Food Products sector (-6 deals YoY)) and in Information Technology (6 deals less than in FY23).
