Led by the University of Melbourne in collaboration with 乐鱼(Leyu)体育官网, Trust, attitudes and use of Artificial Intelligence: A global study 2025, surveyed more than 48,000 people across 47 countries to explore the impact AI is having on individuals and organizations. It is one of the most wide-ranging global studies into the public鈥檚 trust, use, and attitudes towards AI to date.

97% of Emiratis use AI for work, study or personally
Trust and acceptance of AI is growing
53% in the UAE believe benefits > risks
AI regulation and governance is adequate for the UAE鈥檚 expectations
68% in the UAE vs 43% of Global respondents believe current regulations are sufficient to make AI use safe
AI-generated misinformation remains a challenge
88% agree there should be laws to prevent the spread of AI-generated misinformation
Given the pace of AI adoption and the range of potential transformative effects on society, work, education, and the economy鈥攂ringing the public voice into the conversation is a timely and important input that business leaders should consider.
